Happy belated new year! It’s only one week into 2022 but we genuinely hope this year has been very kind to you and your loved ones thus far.
So we all know that every new year comes with new resolutions: losing weight, going to the gym, learning the guitar etc. etc. But we also know that most people (or ourselves) would either not achieve them or burn-out half-way through. That’s okay – it happens! And don’t worry, we’re not interested in being too hard on ourselves here.
But at Mavensdotlive, we’re also interested in the idea of improvement and constant evolution – it’s part of our DNA and it’s why we exist. With that said, to start off the new year, our message to you is simple: start small.
Yup – that’s it. Why do you ask? 2 things:
1. When you start small, you’re likely to get it done – whether you feel like it or not. Forget doing it perfectly – getting it done is key.
2. Though what you start might be small, It actually has more potential to improve and increase! It’s cool to start something big, though the risk of feeling really overwhelmed and giving up is higher too.
Now imagine if you started small and kept at it throughout the year, you might start seeing big changes!
